Some days I fall, some nights I rise; From darkness to light I revive. In the summers of sun and shine Do I bask to my heart’s glory, Like cold and warm winters of mine My sky blooms with clouds ivory. Then the rain comes and the storm I fear some, even at others I gloom. But stars do spark bright and clear And I come out of my shell to cheer, Breaking loose the chained walls, doors I flap my wings and higher it soars. The phoenix as I turn me into To survey all I ever step into. The delicate me hides the naïve cells, Then I craft my pain to stronger petals Unveiling the agonies of untold cries Opening windows to happier skies.
